For a non-criminal traffic citation in Collier County, the Clerk explains that users generally have three choices: pay, elect basic driver improvement school, or request a court hearing. After choosing one option, you may not be able to change your mind.

Traffic school must be completed within 60 days of the date of election, and the completion certificate must be submitted to the Clerk within that allowed time. If no option is selected within 30 days, paying the citation amount may be the only remaining option.
